Create a Grade Center Column


Columns for gradable items are automatically created upon the item’s creation, but a column can be manually created for anything that is not automatically graded.

To create a Grade Center column:

  1. Click the Grade Center link on the control panel, then choose Full Grade Center on the expanded menu.

  2. Click Create Column

  3. Enter a name for the column.

  4. Select the Primary Display for grades (Score, Text, Percentage, Letter, Complete/Incomplete).
  5. Select a Secondary Display to be shown only in the instructor’s Grade Center (this is optional).
  6. Enter a value for Points Possible.

  7. Click Submit to save all changes.
