SG #31: Creating a Collaboration Session for your Group

This guide will walk you through the process of creating a collaboration session for your group.

Creating a Collaboration Session for a Group:

Step 1: Click on the button, then click on the Group Pages link.

Step 2: Click on your group; this would be the one that is hyperlinked.

Step 3a: Click on the Collaboration link.

Step 3b: Click on the Create Collaboration Session link.

 

Step 4 : Fill in the Session Name field with a name that you and your group will recognize. 

Step 5: Select availability times and dates, and set Available to Yes if you want other students to be able to enter the chat.

Step 6: Select the type of chat you want. Chat is a chat room, where Virtual Classroom is a chat room however it also includes the ability to access the web, use a whiteboard, and other features.

Step 7: Click on the button. This will load a confirmation page.
