UM-Flint offers hundreds of courses online and on weekends, both credit-based (academic) and noncredit (professional development and continuing education).

ONLINE ACADEMIC COURSES

EDU 529 - Academic Course Requirement
Students enrolled in EDU 529 are required to complete 3 SB CEUs per registered academic credit hour.

ONLINE AND MIXED MODE ACADEMIC PROGRAMS

BBA Online
The University of Michigan-Flint's School of Management is an AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accredited, professional school offering a General Business concentration in an online Bachelor of Business Administration degree. 

NetPlus! MBA Program
The NetPlus! MBA program is an innovative, Internet-based version of the traditional MBA program that includes a weekend campus session (Friday-Saturday) every six weeks.

RN-to-BSN Online Program
This totally online program is designed for working registered nurses who want to complete their degree while they work.

Africana Studies Certificate
Perfect for K-12 teachers, this interdisciplinary certificate program can be completed entirely online or through evening, Saturday or weekday courses.

Master of Public Administration (MPA) with a Concentration in Education Adminstration
This program targets both current and aspiring K-12 education administrators. Classes meet one Saturday per month with the remainder of course work conducted online.

MA in Education--(Technology in Education)
Created especially for K-12 teachers, some of the courses in this program are offered online.

Psychology--Bachelor of Arts
Offered in conjunction with St. Clair County Community College (SCCC). This program includes online and on-campus (SCCC, Port Huron) classes, as well as on-campus labs at UM-Flint.

Lansing Community College Partnership

Online and face-to-face courses will begin in fall 2007 in conjunction with Lansing Community College (LCC).  Three programs will be available and courses will be offered on campus at the University Center beginning winter 2008.

WEEKEND CLASSES AND FOREIGN LANGUAGE CLASSES

On-campus Saturday courses are identified by an “S” in the section numbers found in the course schedules (top of page). The Office of Extended Learning, 3102 William S. White, is open Saturdays during the fall and winter semesters to assist students and faculty.      

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND CONTINUING EDUCATION

UM-Flint Online Instructor Certificate -- a program for educators and trainers at all levels, this is an intensive program that warrants the UM-Flint "seal of approval"!

K-12 Continuing Education
Earn SB-CEUs or a Technology Integrator Certificate.

Computer Technology
Find dozens of courses to become more competent at the office.

Health Care CEs
Earn continuing education credits toward license renewal.

Tax Courses
Get continuing professional education units from the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.
