Uploading a Respondus test to Blackboard

This document will guide you through the process of uploading a test into a Blackboard course that has been saved as a Respondus test.

Creating a Blackboard Test through Respondus:

Step 1: Create a Test or open a test by going to File, then selecting Open , or on the Start menu click Open .

Step 2: Click on the Preview and Publish tab. On the left, click on the Publish to Blackboard tab.

Step 3: If this is your first time uploading a Test to Blackboard, under Choose Server select - Add New Server -- .

**Note: For step 1 in the add server window, type in this address: http://online.umflint.edu/index2.html . For step 2, log into Blackboard and click on the course you want to add the test to. Once you first enter the course, do not move anywhere. Instead, copy the URL from the web browser and paste it into step 2. Hit the Extract button. Enter a description for this test that will be seen in Blackboard. Finally, enter your uniqname and LAN password at the bottom. You will have to do this for each course shell.

Step 4: In the main window, select the course you wish to add the test to. Choose whether what you are uploading will be considered a Test or a Pool within Blackboard.

Step 5: Click on Publish.
