Uploading Grades to the Gradebook

This guide will walk you through the process of uploading grades from the gradebook of your Blackboard course. You can upload and save a gradebook for use in a spreadsheet program or as a comma-delimited file.

Step 1: Click on the Control Panel link and select Gradebook.

Step 2: Click on the Upload Grades link.

Step 3: Click on the Browse button to search for your spreadsheet to upload into Blackboard. Find the file on your computer and hit Open.

Step 4: Click on the Submit button.

Step 5: This will bring you to the Choose Column to Import page. First, choose the column from your personal spreadsheet that you would like to upload.

Step 6: Next, you will choose which column in the gradebook the uploaded column will appear in. If you would like to create a new column, you would click on Create New Gradebook Item.

Step 7: Click on the Submit button to submit your imported column. Click on the Submit button to close the choose column to import page.

Step 8: Click on the button to close the successfully updated page. Click on the button to close the gradebook page.
