Time Releasing Discussion Board Forums:

This guide will walk you through the process of releasing discussion board forums to the students on a certain day and/or time.

Step 1 : Click on the Control Panel link and click on any content area. This could be the Assignments, Course Documents, Course Information, etc.

Step 2: On the far left hand side, click on the drop down arrow and select Discussion Board option. Click Go.

Step 3: At this point, you can either use a previously created Discussion Board Forum, or you can create your own.

If you create a new forum at this point, you will be sent back to the Discussion Board page and you will have to go through steps one and two again.

Step 4: Select the Next button.

Step 5: Fill in the Text box with information regarding the forum. This information will be listed under the link to the Discussion Board Forum. You can then choose whether to make it available, if you would like to Track Changes, or what the date restrictions are.

Step 6: Click on the Submit button to finish the process of time releasing your Discussion Board Forums.
